Day 1. La Paz - La Cumbre - Challampampa
We leave La Paz in private transport to La Cumbre (4700m). We begin at this height along a single path to Apacheta Chucura. From here, the path will desend to the warm valleys of Los Yungas. Here we shall also meet our team of porters. After a 6 hour walk, we will arrive to the village of Challampampa and set up camp for the night.
Day 2. Challampampa - Sandillani
After breakfast, we will continue our descent to the bottom of the valley. The vegetation becomes denser and the air warmer. After a 6 hour walk, we will finally arrive at the village of Sandillani. The vegetation is now typically sub tropical. Set up camp for the night.
